TYNE AND WEAR PCT - LATEST

We were contacted recently by a lady who was shocked to find that the Pure products she had been ordering for her son were suddenly no longer available on prescription. She was upset for a number of reasons, but her biggest concern was quite naturally for her son's health. Like so many mothers she could see the difference it made to his wellbeing when he ate the ‘right' food.
She asked if we would help her find some answers from her local PCT and we were more than happy to do so. It has taken many weeks of emails to various individuals, letters from both Innovative and the mother herself to finally get a result, but we are delighted to say that the PCT for South Tyne and Wear have agreed to re-list the Pure range and that the flours are no longer considered ‘luxury' items.

FURTHER PRESCRIPTION CHANGES IN THE SOUTH EAST:

We are delighted to announce that the PCT has added all our flours (including Teff) back onto the prescribable list and we have arranged with Alliance Healthcare to supply in bulk. All products have been added to their database and are now stocked in 10 depots all over the UK. This means the flours are no longer deemed "specials" so the "handling charge" doesn't apply! GREAT NEWS!

Innovative Solutions are pleased to further announce that our products are now listed by AAH (who cover Lloyds amongst others) on the "normal" ordering system. This means no more extortionate "specials handling charges" plus a further delivery charge added to the one we have approved by ACBS. Flours are delivered on the little vans we see running around the country, (AAH deliver twice daily) and no minimum order has been imposed, so one bag of flour is allowable.
